Meet our board

Esben contributes deep insight into Danish pelagic fishing, sharp political understanding, and the ability to highlight the societal importance of fisheries – both nationally and internationally.

Esben says:
“Seafood is the diet of the future. Low climate impact, high nutritional value, delicious, and sustainably caught – fish meet all the future consumer demands and the needs of a growing global population. The Danish seafood sector is already a global leader. But the potential is even greater. Uniting forces and strengthening international cooperation within the Danish Ocean Cluster paves the way for further development and new synergies throughout the entire value chain. I am excited to be a part of it.”

Alexandra brings a strong international perspective to the board, solid experience in project management, and, not least, deep insight into the development of the global ocean cluster network. Her experience and vision will be central to our ongoing efforts to promote innovation and cross-border collaboration within the blue economy.
