Mermaid Proteins (BlueLoop Protein ApS) develops marine collagen peptides, as an ingredient for producers of dietary supplements focused on joint health and recovery. The collagen is extracted from the backbones of whitefish, which today is a low-value side stream. We are currently based at Symbion’s shared lab in Copenhagen and are preparing our first pilot run.
