Sternula A/S is the world’s first commercial provider of affordable, secure, and global connectivity for the maritime industry using the new AIS 2.0 standard, also known as the “VHF Data Exchange System” (VDES).

At Sternula A/S, they are proud to enable safety at sea and help shipping companies save costs and reduce pollution. They lead the implementation of AIS 2.0/VDES to become the world’s largest maritime telescope network in terms of the number of connected users. They take an active role alongside global maritime stakeholders to standardize VDES under IALA, IMO, and ITU.
