They work on real projects and challenges together with both the DOC team and companies and organisations across the cluster.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This semester, we are pleased to have four Norwegian interns joining our team: Emma, Dalius, Sara and Erik. Together, they bring expertise in areas such as bioeconomy, aquaculture, economics, sustainability, communication and intercultural collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Tezza-7463.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Design-uden-navn-51.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Emma<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span>Emma is currently in the final year of her bachelor\u2019s degree in Intercultural Competence at Hauge School of Management \u2013 NLA University College. As part of her studies, she focuses particularly on international business, communication and cross-cultural collaboration. Alongside her degree, she is also taking courses at the University of Stavanger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At Danish Ocean Cluster, Emma has the opportunity to work with international collaboration, project work, communication and relationship building. She has previously volunteered with AFS Intercultural Programs, where she also completed leadership training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Emma is particularly interested in:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span>International collaboration \u00b7 Communication \u00b7 Relationship building \u00b7 Project work<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Design-uden-navn-53.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Dalius<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span>Dalius is currently pursuing a master\u2019s degree in Bioeconomy at NMBU \u2013 Norwegian University of Life Sciences and has an academic background in economics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He is particularly interested in the intersection between economics and bioeconomy \u2013 and in how economic perspectives can contribute to creating both sustainable industries and new business opportunities. During his internship at Danish Ocean Cluster, he has the opportunity to work more closely with companies and projects in the blue sector while also expanding his professional network.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dalius describes himself as curious and sociable and enjoys spending his free time on sports, nature, good food and meeting new people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Dalius is particularly interested in:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span>Bioeconomy \u00b7 Economics \u00b7 Business opportunities \u00b7 Sustainable development<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Design-uden-navn-52.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Sara<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span>Sara is currently in the final year of her master\u2019s degree in Bioeconomy at NMBU \u2013 Norwegian University of Life Sciences and holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Aquaculture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Her academic interests are particularly focused on the seafood industry, circular economy, innovation and the development of new sustainable solutions. She combines her academic knowledge with practical experience from three seasons at a fish farming facility and has also worked as a content producer for Havbruksl\u00e6re.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At Danish Ocean Cluster, Sara contributes to specific projects while gaining the opportunity to work even more closely with companies, technologies and development opportunities across the blue sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Sara is particularly interested in:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span>Aquaculture \u00b7 Seafood \u00b7 Circular economy \u00b7 Innovation<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Design-uden-navn-54.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Erik<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span>Erik is currently in the final year of his master\u2019s degree in Bioeconomy at NMBU \u2013 Norwegian University of Life Sciences and holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Sustainability and Business Development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Alongside his studies, he has taught economics and contributed to research projects within bioeconomy.
